Transforming enterprise learning in a fast-paced, accessibility-focused environment

Transforming enterprise learning in a fast-paced, accessibility-focused environment

Client: Microsoft

Challenge:

A global technology leader faced the challenge of modernizing key internal training programs in a fast-paced environment with evolving accessibility requirements and strict adherence to Microsoft’s marketing and technical style standards. Legacy course structures lacked modern engagement, compliance with accessibility guidelines was outdated, and learning designs did not fully leverage emerging technologies like AI.

Solution:

Strategic instructional design and development was applied to three flagship learning initiatives:

  • Annual Live Event Workshop (Concept to Delivery): Developed a high-visibility learning workshop used in a major yearly Microsoft internal event. End-to-end design from concept through delivery ensured the session provided actionable insights and engaging experiences to a large, diverse audience of professionals.
  • MCAPS Foundation Rebranding: Redesigned and rebranded one of Microsoft’s most important internal courses with a modern aesthetic and updated learning activities. The redesign focused on practical AI integration, aligning course content to the company’s strategic direction and enhancing learner engagement.
  • Insightful Listening Learning Path Redesign: Restructured the entire course to improve clarity, learning flow, and outcomes. Enhanced activities, updated modality balance, and modern instructional approaches helped learners connect content with on-the-job performance.
  •

Results:

Modernized training experiences aligned with corporate brand and style standards.
Improved accessibility and compliance, meeting updated requirements across digital learning assets.
Enhanced engagement and relevance through the integration of activities that reflect current work needs and AI-enhanced practices.
Reliable execution in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and cross-functional stakeholder groups.
