Comprehensive Rebranding of Learning Materials for Enbridge

Case Study: Comprehensive Rebranding of Learning Materials for Enbridge

Client: Enbridge Inc.

Challenge:

Enbridge faced a major challenge in rebranding and modernizing an extensive library of learning materials, which included Word and PowerPoint documents. The primary issues included:

  1. Outdated Design: The existing Word and PowerPoint materials were outdated, lacking a cohesive design and modern aesthetic. The challenge was to implement new design elements that reflected the current branding and visual standards of Enbridge.

  2. Organizing and Formatting: The existing Word documents were inconsistently formatted, making them difficult to use and less effective as learning tools. The goal was to reorganize and standardize the formatting across all documents to ensure consistency and ease of use.

  3. Creating New Designs: There was a need to create new, visually engaging designs for the learning materials, incorporating modern design principles and Enbridge’s branding guidelines.

  4. Templates and Master Slides: Another challenge was the creation of new templates and master slides for PowerPoint presentations to ensure consistency and ease of use across all future materials.

Solution:

To address these challenges, we undertook a comprehensive rebranding and modernization project over more than two years, which included the following steps:

  1. Design Overhaul: We implemented a complete design overhaul of the Word and PowerPoint materials, introducing modern design elements and aligning them with Enbridge’s current branding guidelines. This included updating color schemes, fonts, and visual elements to create a cohesive and professional look.

  2. Formatting and Organization: We meticulously reorganized and standardized the formatting of all Word documents. This involved creating consistent headers, footers, bullet points, and other formatting elements to ensure a uniform appearance and improve readability.

  3. New Designs Creation: We designed new, visually appealing layouts for the learning materials. This included the creation of custom graphics, infographics, and other visual aids to enhance the learning experience and make the materials more engaging.

  4. Templates and Master Slides: We developed new templates and master slides for PowerPoint presentations. These templates were designed to be user-friendly, ensuring that all future presentations would maintain a consistent look and feel, aligned with Enbridge’s branding.

Warning: As the project was extensive and long-term, we did not follow up on the project’s long-term impact. Therefore, the full results and effectiveness of these initiatives are still pending evaluation.
